NOVICE ENTHUSIASM Out Now
“Novice Enthusiasm: Belief, Rebuilt. One Line at a Time.” started as a two-word review of a terribly drawn comic. Sean Miller turned it on its head and made it a philosophy.
This book is about the honest, unglamorous work of becoming yourself when everything you trusted is gone.
It's for creatives. It's for people starting over. It's for anyone who needs proof that the work is worth doing even when you don't know who you're doing it for just yet.
Belief, rebuilt. One line at a time.

“This book is a great artistic pep talk. It hit me in the gut more than once, but that’s a good thing.”

About The author
Sean Gregory Miller spent 36 years inside a high-control religion. When he left, he lost most of what he had. What he held onto was drawing.
He's a self-taught visual designer, illustrator, and writer based in Austin, TX. His credits include Zynga, Nickelodeon, Sephora, and Yuga Labs. He co-created Kid Sherlock with Action Lab Entertainment and is producing an original sci-fi series Kintsugi with writer/director Mark Bristol.
His book, Novice Enthusiasm, is the philosophy he built while putting himself back together. It's for anyone rebuilding through a creative practice, whatever that looks like.
He is available for art direction, world building and pre-visualization for film, and speaking engagements.
